My Bharatanatyam journey began at the age of eight when my parents enrolled me in dance classes while we were living in Vienna. After moving to Switzerland, I was fortunate to join the dance school Thirukoneswarer Nadanalyam under the guidance of Dr. Mathivathanie Suthaharan in Zurich, where I completed my diploma course in 2019. Since relocating to Basel, I have been pursuing advanced training with Smt. Vineeta Ravindra. In addition, I am learning Marga Nritta Karanas from Smt. Vithya Arasu. Over the years, I have performed at various prestigious events in Switzerland, including competitions in which I was regularly ranked among the top three. I am a medical doctor based in Basel, with dance as my lifelong companion. Beyond classical works, I enjoy pieces that explore themes such as social justice and feminism.
